I am new to town and this was my first time at the salon which I chose because it is a Paul Mitchell Salon. Had a very good experience there and will be back. Loved the color and it was wonderful to have the extra pampering at the Wash House (complimentary paraffin hand treatment, great scalp massage and hot lavender face towel). The salon is clean, has a great layout and friendly staff.

This was my first visit to The Colorist, and I loved it! The salon itself is a very comfortable environment, and everyone is friendly. At The Colorist I received personal attention, and was not shuffled around like some of the larger, more commercialized salons that resemble a factory. Melissa took time to discuss the characteristics of my hair, the appropriate color and cut for the shape of my face and tone of my skin. I did not feel pressured or rushed in my decisions. I definitely recommend The Colorist Salon and will be a regular client!

I was very nervous going into the salon because of the virus. I approached the window outside to let them know I was there. The receptionist came to the door & told me she would check to see if Melissa was ready for me, then I went in. I was immediately stopped and my temperature was taken. Everyone was wearing a mask. I was kept in the chair at her station while I had my hair colored and cut. The salon is Very SAFE and as always very clean!!!! I left there feeling relaxed about making the choice of going to the Colorist Salon. Great job ladies thank you for going the extra mile, taking all the precautions to keep us feeling safe and beautiful at the same time!

I was in Cleveland for a wedding and called at the very last minute and was fortunate to get an appointment for a blowout (I have naturally curly hair). The stylist did a fantastic job and the team and atmosphere was terrific. If I lived in Cleveland I would go back in a heartbeat and highly recommend them.

The place is clean, comfortable and welcoming. The staff is friendly and helpful. My hair has always been challenging. Amanda is helping me transition from 30 years of overdyed brown/red to my natural grey/white. She has been working with me since August, and I am happy with the process. She also cuts my hair, using a dry cut process which is best for my curly hair. I like this salon, and would recommend it to anyone.

Amanda knows the science behind color so she knows how to achieve the perfect color every time! I came in looking like a fluff ball because she said to let my hair dry naturally so she could cut to my own natural wave of my hair. They only do dry cuts there which is something I have never had. What a difference! I have really thick coarse hair and she was able to get all of the heaviness out so effortlessly. Also, I absolutely love my color. Normally I get the same thing anywhere I go- super dark, almost black and I hate it for the first couple of weeks until it lightens up more. Whatever color combination she put in that bottle, made my hair turn out beautiful. Will definitely be back- thanks Amanda!
